Updated by Katy Harrison
The RSS Feed applet gives you to an easy way to stay up to date with your favourite websites. Popular feeds include news, blog posts, weather reports or online magazines. You can read a summary right from your Desk in MyWorkplace.
See below for our recommended RSS feeds.
How to add an RSS Feed to your Desk:
- Add the RSS Feed applet to your Desk from the Applet Library.
- Find an RSS feed that you'd like to see on your Desk. You can see if your favourite sites have an RSS feed. If it does, you'll usually find a button that looks something like this:
If you don't see this button, look for a link named RSS feed or something similar.
- Once you have found the RSS feed you want, copy the URL in the address bar of your browser.
- Go back to the RSS Feed applet on your Desk and click on 'Add feed'. Paste the URL into 'Feed link' and click 'Check link'. This will check that the link is a valid RSS feed.
- Click 'Save'. You should now see the RSS feed on your desk!
